Our foundational reason for why we have community groups in our church is to image God and proclaim the good news of what Jesus has accomplished on the cross. Community is not about us. It’s all about Jesus. Community groups are an instrument of worship, a weapon against sin, and a tool for evangelism—all for the exaltation of Jesus.
Small groups will thrive when they become the place where we experience life-giving transformation.
Jesus is exalted through our love for Jesus, our love for one another, our love of the Word, and love for the lost. Each group is unique, but you can expect a weekly gathering that involves food, conversation, prayer, discussion and learning how to apply the Bible to our daily lives. Each group desires to be an authentic family of Christ growing into a cohesive Body, each member having their own strengths and weaknesses, and together making a whole community with the common desire to see other people come to Christ.
